In symphony with the political realignment at the National level, notably the movement of Nigeria's topmost political actors to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ikwuano's grassroots leaders and stakeholders under the aegis of Ikwuano Political Coalition met on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the L' Escape Hotel, Nnono Junction, Umugbalu, Ikwuano LGA of Abia State 



Top of the agenda at the meeting moderated by Mr Charles Adiezeh was to examine the political developments at the national level and it's significance On political developments as the country moves towards the 2027 General Elections.



The meeting attracted LG party chairmen, House of Assembly candidates from various parties, youths leaders, stakeholders and various political gladiators from several parties including Labour Party, the PDP, Accord, SDP, APM and the ADC.


A far reaching resolution reached at the meeting was for the Ikwuano Political Coalition to quickly organise themselves at the LG in line with developments at the national level 


Leaders of the various political parties and interest groups were enjoined to dialogue amongst themselves to ensure the building of all-comers Coalition and the party to beat in 2027 as witnessed at the national level.


Present at the meeting including several former House of Assembly candidates including Philip-D Iroegbu, Paul Nwachukwu, Ukattah and several others.


Despite the rain, the meeting attracted enthusiastic patriotic Ikwuano actors who  endorsed the emerging coalition with   their blessings and support
